Accelerate your learning >>

Are you ready to finally smash that 2000 FIDE barrier?

GM Damian Lemos has worked hard for over 5 months to finish his biggest project to date. This course consists of 12 hours in the same tone as the Club Player Manifesto, a celebrated series of videos aimed to make you a complete chess player.

Now the bar has been set higher, as this course is meant for you to SMASH through 2000, a barrier that scares most of the players.

Not everyone has the huge amount of spare time required to hit IM or GM-level, but ANY reasonably smart, ambitious player can reach 2000 FIDE… with the right training.

Here’s what this course will do for you:

You will learn how to handle the critical moments of the game, choosing the right decisions time after time.

The 12-hour Club Player’s Manifesto 2k is all about developing the skills and understanding needed to find strong moves in any position.

To do this, we analyze 50 of the most instructive games from grandmaster chess… each one teaching something new in 1 of 7 categories:

  • Thought Process & Calculation
  • Evaluation & Strategy
  • Forcing Moves
  • Sacrifices & Navigating Chaos
  • Pattern Recognition Creates Intuition
  • Prophylaxis = Control
  • The Squeeze – Converting Advantages

Unlock the complete 12-hour course and get started on your journey to 2000 FIDE and beyond.

Things we cover…

  • Crushing attack strategy. Strategy isn’t restricted to small positional gains. Big sacrificial attacks require deep positional understanding too. Learn how the genius John Nunn was able to offer up a knight, then his queen AND a rook based solely on deep strategic principles (diagram).
  • Unstoppable force. Chess strategy is more than just making a plan; it’s seeing that plan to fruition – adapting where necessary – even though your opponent is doing their very best to stop you. We dissect a Kasparov masterclass to see how this is done at the elite level.
  • REAL chessboard. Each video contains an in-person shot of GM Lemos at the board, plus a close-up of the board itself. It took a lot of effort to record like this but, after a few minutes getting used to it, you’ll really enjoy the “one-to-one lesson” feel.
  • Beating Magnus in the middlegame. As rare as a Giri King’s Gambit, we analyze a classical game where Carlsen was dismantled in under 35 moves! The perfect example of achieving your aim while preventing counterplay.
